For over 37 years, I have worked with clients to develop comprehensive strategies to help address their financial goals and concerns. Seasoned by market extremes (both good and bad), I feel I am well-positioned to help guide clients during future shifts. Delivering personalized investment planning services allows me to work with each client’s unique situation. I currently manage over $290 million* for individuals, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations and corporations.
I graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and remain a big (if not frustrated) fan of Wolfpack sports. I hold the Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations, life insurance and long-term care licenses, and the CFP® certification. Giving back to my community is important to me and I currently serve on the boards of The NC State University Foundation and Family Service of the Piedmont, as well as Advisory Boards for the YWCA and Open Door Ministries. My hobbies include triathlons, cycling, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, cooking, fine wines and travel. Kimberly and I are blessed with three children (and their spouses), Chandler Boyle (Joe), Caroline Crews (Isaac), and Reeves Thompson (Caitlin), and three grandchildren Reynolds Boyle, Owen Dunkelberger and Tally Thompson; all living in North Carolina.
